Congratulations on your new asphalt driveway! To help preserve your blacktop surface and ensure that it remains in pristine condition, we would like to offer a few care tips to protect your investment for years to come:
For the first few days after installation, avoid heavy traffic, turning your steering wheel while your vehicle is stationary, and parking in the same spot for extended periods of time. This will allow the asphalt to properly “cure” as well as minimize the risk of indentations and surface marks. You may drive over your driveway after two days but do not park on it for five days, possibly longer in warmer temperatures. Your new blacktop will soften and harden as temperatures fluctuate. Watering down your driveway with a hose on hotter days will cool it and temporarily harden the blacktop. Please note, although we make every effort to avoid puddles on your driveway, small ones may develop depending on the natural slope and drainage of your property.
Keeping excessive weight off the new asphalt is also important, the extra weight from larger vehicles will depress your new blacktop. Lawn chairs, grills, bicycles, and motorcycle kickstands can also exert weight that will create holes and depressions in your driveway, especially in hot weather. When storing campers or boats for long periods of time, you should place a piece of plywood under the tongue jack and under the tires. To help preserve your new driveway, apply a sealcoating one year after the asphalt has been applied and then continue doing it every two to three years.
Keeping your driveway clean and clear of rocks, dirt, and debris is crucial to extend its life and keep it in peak condition. Remove leaves, dirt, sticks, and other debris promptly. Regular sweeping or blowing prevents these materials from causing damage or staining the surface.
Consider sealcoating your driveway every two to three years, depending on climate conditions. Sealcoating provides an extra layer of protection against the elements, the sun’s UV rays, and other environmental factors that could affect the condition.
Since the liquid asphalt in blacktop needs time to fully harden and remains soft and pliable, it’s important that you avoid doing the following until it hardens:

The lifespan varies based on materials and maintenance. Asphalt driveways may last 15-20+ years.
UV exposure and weathering can lead to color fading. Sealcoating can help restore color and protect the surface from further damage.
To protect your investment, Refrain from using harsh chemicals such as gasoline, oil, or de-icing agents on your asphalt surface. These substances may compromise the integrity of the paved area and exacerbate wear and tear.

Great company to work with. This was a big job covering almost 2 weeks. Excellent attention to detail. Good quality workmanship. Very responsive with communication. Left job site very clean. Crews were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
We got 3 estimates, this being our 3rd, and decided to go with them because 1) they left the best first impression when they did the estimate 2) the estimate was lower than the other two and 3) they had good reviews. Super happy with the job they did and so glad we chose them to replace and expand our driveway!! It looks amazing (even better than in the photo) and I love that they’re a family-owned business.

I had been in Property Management for over 20 years and had worked with multiple asphalt companies. The crew was very professional, caring, being careful of my new concrete walkway and very polite. I was very impressed with their work and how they worked together to complete my driveway. My new driveway looks gorgeous!!!!
